Seacell is a fiber that is made from algae from the fjords of Iceland in the North Atlantic Ocean, with antioxidant properties certified by European laboratories thanks to its high content of vitamin E and amino acids. All these components inhibit the formation of free reactive oxygen species, which are formed in the organisms themselves in contact with oxygen and act by altering the cell membrane and attacking the cells’ genetic material.
